Destiny Youth Trust

Australia's shocking youth suicide rates are among the very worst in the world. Apex has long sought to address this issue, including the support of Kids Help Line, to conduct important research that has assisted them in targeting their service provision.
The Apex Foundation responded by setting up the new Destiny Trust. Destiny is an acronym for "Dream-Empower-Succeed-Trust-IN-Youth" to deal with hard youth issues like drugs-esteem-suicide. Projects will support young Australians to build skills and access resources that will help them get through life's challenges.
The beneficiaries of this Trust fall within one of the following three categories:
-
Australian charity/community organisations (eg. Kids Help Line and SLS NSW)
-
National initiatives of the Apex Foundation
-
Apex Club youth projects
We will ensure that funding is allocated to projects that will assist Australian children nationally, and most importantly, in rural communities.
We are in the process of embarking on raising the first million dollars for this Trust, so that we may begin making disbursements to chosen beneficiaries. Please help us give the Destiny Trust wings - we cannot begin to make disbursements until the Trust fund reaches target, to enable us to provide sustainable support to organisations, projects, and communities over a number of years. By sustaining support over an extended period, we ensure success for the endeavours we undertake.
Apex will continue to support young people to dream, believe and achieve their destiny!
